About RiskAssess
RiskAssess has been developed by the EcoSolve Team, led by Dr Phillip Crisp.
Phillip has over 30 years' experience in chemical laboratories and has been teaching laboratory safety for more than 10 years. He has consulted with many teachers and laboratory assistants to help produce a risk-assessment tool that is customised to school science experiments and complies with current legal requirements.
James Crisp is the technical lead for RiskAssess. James started programming when he was in primary school and released commercial software by the end of high school. He was awarded the University Medal for Computer Science at university, and has developed commercial software for over 11 years.
A one-year subscription to the first release of RiskAssess costs $80 (+GST). It will assist teachers and laboratory assistants at your school to create standardised risk assessments using up-to-date chemical, equipment and biological information.
